Siegel River Grain goat leathers are a high quality, economically priced bookbinding leather. All skins are considered Grade 1, which means they exhibit virtually no blemishes or marks. The consistency in the grain pattern is the result of an embossing process over the natural grain of the leather. The leather is specially split to .65 mm with no loss in strength and it's the strength of this leather that makes it an excellent choice for bibles, as well as for traditional and non-traditional bookbinding. They are 100% vegetable tanned and will readily accept gold stamping.

If you require specific minimum dimensions for your leather, please indicate the minimum length and width needed in the "Special Instructions" box during check out. 

We highly recommend ordering a sample card to determine the colors, thickness, and textures of the leathers. Keep in mind that dye lots may vary slightly and, although they are very close, the colors might not match exactly to the ones on the sample card.
