Hollander's Workshops

Although currently we are not offering workshops in our new warehouse location, we hope to offer a small number of classes when Covid-19 has subsided. We will keep you posted on this page.

Meanwhile, we will continue to include the following list of  excellent  organizations offering various book and paper arts workshops throughout the year. Please contact them directly to check on current class availability.

American Academy of Bookbinding:
  A program that gives serious and professional binders an opportunity to receive top level instruction. Based in Telluride, CO.
BookWorks:  A full spectrum of workshops including, bookbinding, printmaking and paper arts. Located in Asheville, NC.
Center for Book Arts: One of the oldest and best known Book Art Centers in the country. Located in New York City.
Morgan Conservatory: Located in Cleveland, the Morgan Conservatory offers an outstanding collection of papermaking, printmaking, and book arts workshops.
North Bennet Street School: The only full-time bookbinding program in North America. Located in Boston, MA.
Penland School of Arts and Crafts: A great tradition of one and two week workshops. Located in North Carolina.
Paper and Book Intensive (PBI):  A popular summer retreat in the book arts with top level instruction. Located in Michigan.
San Francisco Center for the Book: Workshops, exhibitions, and public events. SFCB promotes both knowledge of traditional book arts and exploration of experimental book forms.
