Leathers

We stock a variety of bookbinding leathers.  Our goat leathers come in both a traditional thickness and those that are split, which helps reduce the leather paring often required.  Our Harmatan and Hewit fine binidng goat leathers are world renowned for being of the highest quality.  In addition, we carry a more economical, Siegel leather, which is an excellent goat leather option. Our Italian cow leather can be used for both fine binding and less traditional styles. In addition, we offer a collection of thicker, non-traditional "rustic" leathers. These leathers are most popular for making wrap around journals and the use a thick leather as the cover itself.  Imitation leather and imitation suede are also part of our collection.
