Our 4-ply waxed linen thread is imported from Northern Ireland and is typically used in exposed stitching and for a variety of decorative uses. It comes in 100 yard spools With our 4-ply waxed linen thread, we recommend using the larger eye, needle size is #1.  Thickness is just slightly less than 1/32" or  .040" or .02mm.
