Rustic Thick Cow Leather is a great alternative for non-traditional book making. Scars, blemishes, and even branding marks are characteristics found on these leathers.  

All of them preserve the natural grain and condition in which they were produced. Their thickness is approximately 3/32" (2.5 mm) which make them suitable for sturdy leather wrap journals and other items that require a thicker leather.  These durable leathers have a  matte finish and are dyed throughout the thickness. 

Note: Because the dye lots of our rustic leathers differ slightly, we do not offer samples. The colors and character seen on the website are usually fairly close, but the actual leather you receive may not match what is shown.  In addition, most pieces are cut in an irregular shape, so if specific dimensions are required  (i.e. 10" x 12"), please include those measurements in the comments box during the checkout process.
