This set of three specialized measuring tools and a paper awl comes as a boxed set. The measuring tools include: (1) 90-degree right triangle; (2) mitering guide for accurately measuring and mitering corners of text block covers; and (3) set of two, 1/4" spacers to create the correct size gap along the spine when making a flat back book cover.  Note: The mitering guide and spine gap tool are designed primarily for use with approximately .090 (3/32") thickness book board, a common size board used in bookbinding.

Also included is a light duty paper awl that is used for piercing smaller size sewing holes in signatures. The awl has a matching, fitted cap that easily snaps on and off.  Note: Do not use this awl with a hammer or to pierce through book board. An affordable sewing cradle, using the same materials, for piercing holes in signatures is also offered on our website.  

All items shown are made with a material known as PLA (polylactide) a thermoplastic which is biodegradable and comes from renewable resources such as corn and sugar cane.
