This affordable sewing cradle is made on a 3-D printer. The material is a PLA (Polylactide) thermoplastic which is biodegradable and comes from renewable resources such as corn and sugar cane.  A sewing cradle is used for punching or piercing holes in signatures (loose sheets of folded text paper) prior to sewing. This product includes a stop at one end so the signature sheets can easily be lined up.  An open space at the base easily allows you to use an awl to pierce through the folds.  Shown in Dark Blue.
