Hollander's Complete Clamshell Box Kit includes 11 pre-cut board pieces for a 6" x 8" x 1.25" clam shell box, pre-cut decorative paper and book cloth (papers and cloths may be used as a pattern, if preferred), PVA Standard glue, PVA thick glue, bone folder, and instruction booklet. This style of box is also known as a drop spine box, and it is typically used to protect a book or valuable papers/art works. The intent of the kit is to teach you how to make this style of box, so you can make your own custom size. You will need: Brush and scissors. All other supplies and tools are included.

PVA Freeze Warning: The adhesive properties of PVA significantly diminish when it freezes. Therefore, during the winter months we try to monitor when we ship our PVA glues. If the weather is such that our glue shipments may be affected, we will hold your entire order until conditions allow us to ship.  A tell-tale sign that your PVA was frozen is if the glue exhibits a chalky or cottage cheese like texture. If you can stir the glue and it smooths out, it should be fine. If not, it should be discarded.  We suggest you do not order PVA glue during the winter months when you know the temperature may below freezing.
