Cherry Hardwood Book Press - 11" x 13.5" with brass posts and cap nuts. Cherry is a high-quality hardwood with a rich and beautiful coloring. The book press delivers even and controllable pressure and can accommodate books up to 11 x 13.5 inches. The large opening between the press floor and attached press board will allow for several books at once. Brass posts accommodate the raising and lowering of the platen board. The press mechanism has a black steel handle and screw mechanism. Small rubber feet on the base protect tabletops and prevent slipping. Finished with a water-resistant polyurethane. This handsome book press is a combination of both function and style and is custom made for Hollander's. Ships fully assembled and is maintenance free. 

Note:  We recommend placing a clean sheet of wax paper over the book and then a clean, thin sheet of book board over the wax paper before inserting press boards and tightening the clamp.  This assures if glue seeps out and/or any small particles that might be stuck on the press boards do not leave an indentation on the book's cover.
