Harmatan's Fine Leather goat skins are created using traditional methods at a small tannery in Scotland.  The leathers are vegetable tanned, produced specifically for fine binding. Traditional thickness leathers (1.0 mm) require some paring, while our split leathers (.75 mm) require minimal paring. All leathers have a natural grain finish and differ slightly from one to another.
