Library Buckram is a heavyweight, starched bookcloth, made from a combination of polyester and cotton fabrics. It is known as the strongest and most durable bookcloth. The glazed finish allows it to be washed, and is mildew resistant. 

Buckram’s moisture resistance and durability make it ideal for menus, loose leaf binders, library books, or any similar items in need of extra protection. Buckram decorates beautifully with foil stamping, blind stamping, and screen printing.  Because it is a relatively stiff bookcloth, we suggest using a stronger glue than traditional PVA, such as a hot glue or our PVA Jade Thick.
