Important Registration Information

How to Register:  The easiest and recommended way to register for our workshops is through our website at You can also register for workshops at the store by filling out a workshop registration form. We accept phone registrations; however, we prefer not to use this method, if at all possible. When you register on our website, we will send an email confirmation notifying you of the workshop(s) you have registered for.  

Email Reminder:  Approximately one week before your workshop, we will send you an email reminder and a list of tools and/or supplies needed for the class. If you do not receive this reminder and supply list within 5 days of the class, please contact us.  

Wait List Policy:  When a workshop is full, it will be marked as "Wait List Only" on our website. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please email us ( and indicate the workshop you are interested in.  Please include a phone number and email that will enable us to contact you if a space becomes available. 

Tools/Supplies Needed:  Most workshops require that you bring some basic tools or supplies such as a bone folder, x-acto knife, cutting mat, and brushes. Some classes may require that you purchase your own paper, book cloth, or other supplies. When we email our workshop reminders, we will indicate the tools and supplies required. 

Materials Fees:  Our workshops include a materials fee which varies depending on the class.  It usually includes materials and supplies provided and/or requested by the instructor.  Incidental materials, supplies, and equipment needs is a small amount added to this fee and shared by all participants. 

10% Discount Cards:  When you arrive for the workshop, you will receive a 10% discount card, good on all Hollander’s tools, supplies, and other items for up to one week from the date of the class. You may also use the 10% off card the day before the class to make your purchases if convenient. 

Cancellation Policy:  Once you have registered for a workshop, there is a $30 administration fee per cancellation, until 48 hours prior to the class. The remainder will be refunded as a store credit only. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop. If Hollander's cancels a workshop, a full refund will be issued within 48 hours of the cancellation.  

Handicap Access:  Our workshop space offers handicap access via an elevator at the front of our store. Please notify us in advance of your workshop if you have any special needs for us to consider for your workshop. 

Travel & Lodging:
  If you are coming in from out of town, there are a number of lodging options within approximately 5 miles of our store.  Please go to for a complete list of motels, hotels, etc.  Note: Travel and lodging may be difficult around UM football Saturdays, so plan accordingly.  Those workshops are marked with an asterisk (*).
